Hi everyone!!
So I believe either Jake or myself have gotten in touch with you all, our dearest friends, to let you all know that we couldn't wait any longer to get hitched and the wedding is now less then 3 months away! So ... since we kinda bypassed the whole "formal" save the date timeline ... this is your eco-friendly version :) (and appologies for the group email - but we wanted to get the info to everyone as soon as we could)
!!! SAVE THE DATE - Friday October 17th, 2008 !!!
We know it's a Friday and it's hard for people to get off work and travel - but I promise you this is going to be one kick ass party weekend!!! The wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at the Westlake Village Inn in Westlake Village, CA, a bit north of the heart of Los Angeles. There will also be a rehearsal dinner the evening before (Thursday), however location right now is TBD - but it will take place close to the wedding venue. Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at the Inn. I have listed accomodations below where we have rooms booked at special rates - or feel free to "google" Westlake Village, CA if you wish to stay somewhere else. Saturday (post-wedding day) there will also be a brunch at or near the hotel for everyone to laugh about all the drunken events from the day before and relax with Jake and I and our families. Don't feel like you have to leave on Saturday if coming in from out of town - Jake and I won't be taking a honeymoon until later in the year, so we will for sure be around to hang out through the weekend. Oh and when/if you do book a room at a hotel, if you would be so kind as to let us know where you are staying, that would be fabulous!! And just a little travel note for all you Denver-ites ... Frontier's roundtrip flight price right now for that weekend is only $180 per ticket - a fantastic deal!!!
The "big day" will be here before we know it and we couldn't be more excited then to share one of the best days of our lives with such amazing friends!!
